Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Doinmon website, services, and applications (the "Service") provided by Doinmon ("Doinmon," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree that you have read, understood, and are legally bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • Service: Refers to all software and services offered by Doinmon, including but not limited to domain detection, monitoring, intelligence, and reporting.
  • Paid Service: Refers to the subscription-based services offered by Doinmon, which require a registered account and payment.
  • Free Service: Refers to the publicly available, non-subscription-based services offered on our website, such as the single-domain threat lookup tool. These services do not require an account.
  • User: Refers to any person or entity that registers for or uses the Service ("you" or "your").
  • User Data: Refers to the data you provide while using the Service, including the domain names you wish to monitor and the data generated by the Service for those domain names.

2. Scope of Service 

Doinmon is a domain intelligence platform that detects lookalike domains created to impersonate our customers' domains for potential phishing or fraudulent purposes, and continuously monitors these suspicious domains. The Service collects data about detected domains, enriches this data, and reports it to the User.

Doinmon does not guarantee that it will detect all threats with 100% accuracy. The Service is a defensive mechanism and operates on a best-effort basis. The Free Service provides an on-demand, singular threat lookup only. It does not include continuous monitoring, alerting, or detailed historical data.

3. User Accounts

To use the Paid Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy 

By using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Use the Free Service for any purpose other than manual, individual, and non-commercial lookup.
  • Resell or redistribute data obtained from the Service, including the Free Service, without our express written permission.
  • Attempt to use automated tools, bots, scripts, or similar methods to access or make bulk queries through the Free Service.
  • Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or copy the source code of the Service.
  • Take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Service's infrastructure.
  • Use the Service in any way that has the potential to, or will, damage our goodwill or reputation.

5. Fees and Payment

  • Subscription: Our Paid Service is offered on a subscription basis with recurring billing periods.
  • Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis. You will be billed automatically through the payment method provided at the beginning of each subscription period.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription by following the process outlined in the 'License Module' of the Doinmon platform. No refunds will be provided for the billing period in which the cancellation occurs.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our subscription fees and will provide you with at least 30 days' notice of any fee changes.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and content (excluding User Data), is the exclusive property of Doinmon and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You retain ownership of your User Data. However, to provide the Service to you, you grant Doinmon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your User Data.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. DOINMON MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR WILL DETECT ALL THREATS.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE FREE SERVICE IS INTENDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. DOINMON PROVIDES NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE DATA OBTAINED THROUGH THE FREE SERVICE. YOUR USE OF THE FREE SERVICE AND ANY ACTIONS TAKEN BASED ON THE INFORMATION PROVIDED ARE SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DOINMON BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL DOINMON'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES PAID BY YOU TO US DURING THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE DATE THE CLAIM AROSE.

9. Term and Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Paid Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.

We may also, with or without notice, limit or suspend your access to the Free Service if we reasonably believe you are not complying with these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by following the cancellation process outlined in Section 5.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution 

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts.

11. General Provisions

  • Changes to Terms: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Doinmon regarding our Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Service.
